The RENZ Punch 700 is a large-format high-performance punching machine designed for professional print finishing and post-press applications. It is ideal for preparing paper stacks for subsequent binding processes. With side-mounted logistics tables and a horizontal paper feed system, it ensures precise operation and an efficient workflow. The machine processes materials up to 4.2 mm thick at a rate of up to 46,000 punched sheets per hour. Optional punching tools are available for all common binding types – including wire comb, plastic comb, spiral binding, as well as calendar production and special applications such as tear-off perforations. A key advantage: two 350 mm punching tools can be used simultaneously. This enables two products with different pitches or punching patterns to be punched on a single machine – without the need to change tools. The integrated QSA (Quick Size Adjustment) technology allows for individual punching dies to be selectively deactivated, enabling flexible format changes without removing the tool. A microswitch automatically activates the punching process as the paper is inserted, or alternatively, it can be triggered via a foot switch.
